Privacy Policy

Data controller

Loop is operated by solve-studio. For data-protection queries contact us at jp@jamespates.dev.

What we collect

  • Account information — email address and display name when you sign up.
  • Feedback content — text, screenshots, screen recordings and metadata submitted through the widget.
  • Usage data — pages visited, browser type, IP address and similar analytics collected automatically.
  • Billing data — payment details processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.

Lawful basis for processing

Under UK GDPR we rely on:

  • Contract — to provide and maintain the service you signed up for.
  • Legitimate interests — to improve Loop, prevent fraud and ensure security.
  • Consent — for optional marketing communications (you may withdraw at any time).

Third-party processors

We share data only as needed to run the service:

  • Supabase — database hosting and authentication.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • AWS SES — transactional email delivery.
  • Slack — notifications when you enable the integration.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Feedback content is retained until you or your organisation deletes it. If you close your account we delete your personal data within 30 days, unless we are required by law to retain it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate data.
  • Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Data portability.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

To exercise any of these rights email jp@jamespates.dev.
